AUSTIN (KXAN) — A suspect in the shooting of a Sonic employee and robbery last week was captured Wednesday by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force.

Authorities learned Terrence Williams, 19, was staying in the 1200 block of E. Parmer Lane. Members of the task force initiated surveillance and moments later saw Williams in an apartment complex getting into the driver seat of a parked vehicle.

The task force surrounded and approached the vehicle, arresting Williams without incident.

He was taken into custody at 3 p.m. and taken to the Travis County Jail.

The woman shot last Tuesday is expected to be okay.
