Safe stolen from Fayette Co. Meat Market, 3 arrested

FAYETTE COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — Three men have been arrested accused of stealing a safe from Willie Joe’s Processing and Meat Market on Sept. 20.

The safe contained cash and checks. Investigators found one of the suspects at a Schulenburg residence. Two more suspects were located by investigators at the Garden Walk Apartments. The safe was discovered in the backseat of their car.

The men have been identified as 24-year-old Gerrod Butler, 23-year-old Karl Jarmon Jr., and 22-year-old Javier Esquivel. All three suspects are Schulenburg residents charged with Burglary of a Building and have been booked into the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
