Healthy Dinner Substitutions That Are Fast And Easy

Getting a healthy dinner on the table is a struggle many of us face every night. Registered Dietitian Patty Berry stopped by the studio to share quick and easy tips for alternatives to common meals. We started with grilled steak and potatoes. Instead of using red meat, try grilling salmon to get some of those great Omega-3s. Then try quinoa with a strong flavored cheese like feta to get a starch-like component to the plate with more fiber and other health benefits. As an alternative to traditional spaghetti and meatballs, Patty showed us how to make zoodles (or zucchini noodles) and a less fatty protein like chicken.
