AUSTIN (KXAN) — Just about two weeks out and Austin City Limits announced changes for how Zilker Park will be used this year, its 15th anniversary.

Looking at the maps sent out from ACL Thursday, a whole section in the south east corner will now be used by the festival.

C3 Presents says this will allow for better crowd flow, moving stages and make room for some new spots. This includes a family friendly entrance.

When families register for Tag-a-Kid this year at the Family Friendly Entrance or the Info Tent just inside the main gates, each child will receive an RFID-enabled wristband, ACL said. If a child is separated from their parent, organizers have a fast way to reunite them.

This year every restroom in the park will be upgraded to environmentally friendly, flushable toilets.

Visit ACL’s website for a map and more information on the upgrades.
