AUSTIN (KXAN) — The video of two students who were hit after getting off a bus was still the video everyone wanted to see this week. Amy McFadden’s 12-year-old son was one of the children hit in the crosswalk at the intersection of South First Street and St. Elmo Road in South Austin. Friends and family also mourned the death of Austin Police Officer Amir Abdul-Khaliq who died Sunday after being hit while working a funeral procession.
