APD motorcycle cop injured in North MoPac crash

AUSTIN (KXAN) — An Austin police officer on motorcycle patrol was involved in a crash Thursday morning.

Police say the crash happened around 11:22 a.m. on the northbound frontage road of North MoPac at West Anderson Lane. The motorcycle cop collided with a SUV.

Austin police say the officer was treated and released from the hospital with minor injuries. No one in the SUV was injured.

steck Avenue was closed for a short period of time during the crash investigation.
