Five arrested in New Braunfels tattoo shop robbery

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas (KXAN) — Five San Antonio men are now in custody accused of robbing a New Braunfels tattoo parlor in May.

New Braunfels police say on May 10, just before midnight, four armed, masked men came into the Timeless Ink Tattoo shop on Interstate 35 and demanded money from the two employees and a customer. All three people inside the store were assaulted by the suspects; two of the victims had to be taken to the hospital for their injuries.

Surveillance video from inside the business showed the men coming in with firearms drawn. The suspects were able to get away with an undisclosed amount of money.

With the help of the San Antonio Police Department, New Braunfels police were able to identify five men believed to be responsible for the robbery, including the possible getaway driver. The suspects are: Olanda
Taylor, 18; Gustavo Trevino, 36; Robert Ruffins, 26; Kenneth McMichael, 26; Anthony Ruffins, 29. All of the suspects were arrested over the past two months and charged with aggravated robbery.
