VIDEO: Choir singing on plane for fallen Houston soldier goes viral

HOUSTON, TX (WCMH) — The video shared on Facebook shows a choir singing for a fallen soldier as his remains were taken off a plane.

According to the Diane Hollifield Cupp, the person who posted the video, an Army private was escorting the remains of a World War II soldier back to Houston.

Cupp says when the pilot announced that the soldier would be exiting the plane first the choir of young people began to sing the “Battle Hymn of the Republic.”

“Listen how beautiful!! Will bring a tear to your eye,” Cupp comments in the post.

Cupp’s video has been shared more than 1,100 times since she posted it July 20.
