WIMBERLEY, Texas (KXAN) — Four burglary suspects are in the Hays County Jail after a two-month long investigation identified them as the people responsible for multiple thefts in Wimberley.

Burglaries were reported at numerous houses and business in Wimberley since May of this year. Items taken include jewelry, power tools, and vehicles.

The suspects were charged by Hays County detectives after gathering enough evidence through search warrants to confirm their identities. A home on Mt. Sharp Road was searched by a SWAT team July 13 uncovering additional evidence.

The four suspects are all Wimberley residents:

  • Julius Chambers, 28
  • Joseph Robuck, 38
  • Mason Berning, 23
  • Darbee Wesson, 19

They face charges ranging from theft, unlawful possession of firearms, prohibited weapons, and possession of a controlled substance.
