DALLAS, Texas (KXAN/KXAS) — A man reportedly barricaded himself in a car around 10 a.m. leading to a standoff with police at the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, a source told KXAS.

The incident was near a control tower at the airport. Officials with American Airlines said they sent out a diversion alert, but have not confirmed what the incident was.

The Federal Aviation Administration said operations were briefly put on hold, but are now back to normal.
