AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin police officers are searching in Northeast Austin after a home was burglarized Sunday.

Police say a person called just after 5:30 p.m. and told them someone was sneaking around a neighbor’s home on the 9800 block of Ochiltree Drive. The caller knew that their neighbor was out of town and that no one was home.

When police arrived on the scene they found a broken window and saw as many as four people running away from the home.

Police do not have a description of the suspects, but have set up a perimeter and are searching in the area.
