It’s a sandwich that’s anything but simple. It might even inspire you to spice up your next stack of meat between bread. Gary Wu of General Tso Boy stopped by the studio and showed us how to make their Char Siu Pulled Pork. He started with pork that’s been slow roasted for at least 4 hours, and pulled apart into bite-size pieces. Then, he made the Char Siu sauce, by combining soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, sesame paste, sugar, garlic and honey. He combined the sauce and the pork until it was evently coated. And he and Amanda assembled the sandwich with a toasted roll from Easy Tiger, mayo, shredded romaine lettuce and the pork. General Tso boy is located in The Domain on Rock Rose.
