LOS ANGELES, Calif. (KXAN) — It seems Kevin Hart’s quick rise to the top of the comedy food chain caught the eyes of some enterprising thieves.

According to People magazine, while the comedian was on the road promoting his latest hit film, Central Intelligence, his home was burglarized. The thieves made off with nearly half a million in jewelry, clothes and some of his personal items.

According to the police, the burglars most likely entered through a back entrance.

Luckily, Hart has security cameras and the footage they recorded is being reviewed.

Central Intelligence, which also stars Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, opens on Friday. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
