AUSTIN (KXAN) — Police have charged an Austin man with a felony DWI, after finding him asleep in a Car2go idling in a Whataburger drive-thru line in South Austin early Thursday morning.

According to an arrest affidavit, officers were called by a concerned citizen who had tried blowing his own car horn to wake up 38-year-old Brandon Fuller at the restaurant, which is located at 601 Barton Springs Rd.

Police said they smelled a strong odor of alcohol on Fuller’s breath, and he swayed while standing in place. Fuller admitted to police he had “made a bad decision,” according to the affidavit.

Fuller has two previous DWI convictions—Brazos County in 2006 and Travis County in 2008, the affidavit states.

Fuller’s bond was set at $50,000.
