Nobody knows about kids and fun better than Austin Moms Blog. Allison Mack returned to our studio to show more great ideas that we can pull off at home. Allison showed us how to make healthy apple slices that her kids enjoy. To begin, Allison cut out the core of the apple. Then, she cut the apples into thing round slices. The apples were topped with almond butter, coconut, and chocolate. Allison said she could tell her kids loved it because instead of talking they kept eating more.

Not only did she show us how to fill your little one’s belly, she also showed us a few fun activities to continue growing motor and reading skills. Allison showed us how she makes a craft using pipe cleaners to help her little kids improve their motor skills. She created numbers using paper and would have her kids slide the numbers onto the pipe cleaners as they counted. The number filled pipe cleaner is also works as a fun bracelet when they have finished the lesson. Allison also brought a fun way to use LEGOS. Allison took the classic LEGOS, known for stacking and building, and turned them into a reading tool. She wrote letters and words on the different LEGOS to help her kids recognize, read, and spell words.
