GEORGETOWN, Texas (KXAN) — A man died after drifting into oncoming traffic in Georgetown, Sunday.
The crash happened at around 12:24 p.m. in the 4100 block of Williams Drive, just west of Seranada Drive.
The driver of a Kia Soul, identified as Jeremy Torres, 42, of Austin, was traveling eastbound on Williams when he drifted into oncoming traffic, Georgetown police said. The Kia crashed into an SUV in a partial head-on collision. Torres was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital and later released.
