Studio 512 teamed up with Next Stop to explore the amazing selection of summer activity in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory. Today we experienced a truly unique music festival that embraces the lifestyle that Oregon is known for.
Pickathon is more than just an indie music festival that creates truly diverse lineups with musicians from just about any style of music you can choose. It’s also a celebration of the region’s foodie culture, with selections from area food trucks, local craft brewers and wineries all in a family-friendly environment, with camping within the forests that surround the event farm.
One of the beset parts of the festival is its focus on sustainability. Last year they introduced efforts that all but eliminated single use water bottles and dramatically cut down on waste, while solar panels and year-round efforts have all but completely offset the electrical needs for the amazing muscial acts that take the many stages.
