GEORGETOWN, Texas (KXAN) — A suspect has been charged with the burglary of GTX Guns in Georgetown on Monday, May 9.

Walter Anthony Sedwick, 20, was arrested Friday at 5 p.m. in the 3800 block of Williams Drive, near Serenada Drive, in Georgetown. He has been charged with burglary of a building, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and firearms smuggling.

Several of the firearms stolen from GTX Guns have been recovered, Georgetown police say. Sedwick is currently in the Williamson County Jail.

Surveillance video showed the suspect enter and leave the store, located at the intersection of Williams Drive and Wagon Wheel Trail, in less than 10 seconds.

A store manager said that at 4:11 a.m. Monday, the man used a rock to break through the glass front door and another rock to break a glass display case. He grabbed two guns with his left hand and two guns with his right hand and then left the store.
