SAN MARCOS, Texas (KXAN) — The Hays County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help identifying a sexual assault suspect.
On Friday, May 6 at around 3 p.m., authorities responded to Central Texas Medical Center for a reported sexual assault victim.
Detectives interviewed a 22-year-old woman who said she was at a local bar in San Marcos earlier that morning, around 3 a.m., and while drinking she got extremely sick, the sheriff’s office said.
Police have not released the exact location of the incident.
She stepped outside of the bar and began vomiting. The woman was approached by an unknown man and asked if she needed help. He then pulled her into his car and drove to an unknown location.
The victim blacked out and when she woke up, she realized that she had been sexually assaulted. The suspect dropped her off at a residence in San Marcos and drove away, authorities say.
The suspect is described as a “dark-skinned” male, around 5’5″-5’8”, 120-135 pounds and as having “very poor hygiene.”
