Round Rock home struck by lightning during storms

ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) — A home in Round Rock was struck by lightning as storms blew through Sunday afternoon.

According to the resident of the home the lightning struck the home in the South Creek neighborhood around 3 p.m., destroying the window of her daughter’s room.

Power and gas were knocked out, and have not been repaired as of Sunday evening.

Everyone inside the home were able to get out safely.
