Game of Silence: TV show set in Texas premieres tonight

Game of Silence

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Game of Silence, an NBC drama set in Texas, premieres Tuesday night at 9 p.m. on KXAN.

The show is from the mind of the executive producers from Friday Night Lights. The creator David Hudgins, and actors Larenz Tate and Demetrius Grosse joined us in the KXAN studio to preview the new show.

Hudgins said the show centers around “five best friends who grew up in a small town in Texas. A very traumatic event happened to them when they ended up in a juvenile facility. They made a pact of silence never to talk about what happened.”

Without giving too much away Hudgins went on to say, one of the friends runs into one of their old tormentors from the streets and has a reaction that sets in motion a chain of events that brings the group of friends back together. Reconnected they are forced to go get justice. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
