Bullet hits car in I-35 road rage incident in Round Rock

ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) — At least one bullet was fired at a vehicle on Interstate 35 in Round Rock, Wednesday.

At around 9:35 p.m. in the main northbound lanes of I-35, Round Rock police responded to an emergency call of shots fired near the FM 620 exit. A caller told police a white Mustang was driving recklessly and almost hit multiple vehicles.

The victim exited onto the frontage road when an occupant of the Mustang fired at least one shot at the victim. A bullet hit the driver side door, but no one was injured.

Police say there were possibly two people in the Mustang. The suspect appeared to be a male Hispanic driver with a shaved or bald head, and the suspect vehicle is a white V6 Mustang with a tan convertible top. The body style may be a model from 2005-2009, police said. The car also had all blue headlights.
