AUSTIN (KXAN) — The search for the man and women of the year kicked off Wednesday. It’s part of a competition for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
An event Wednesday night kicked off the 10-week event.
Every dollar raised counts as one vote. The money goes toward blood cancer research.
Top local fundraisers become eligible to win the national titles.
You might remember last year KXAN’s Shannon Wolfson was named “woman of the year” for raising almost $130,000.
