GEORGETOWN, Texas (KXAN) — After reports of local children dying in day-cares, a forum aims to prevent child injuries. The community forum will discuss how to ensure children’s safety at day care facilities.

Police are still investigating after a 5-month-old baby died in the care of a Georgetown day care operator at a registered child care home. Another child was injured at an illegal day care in Williamson County.

The Child Care Licensing forum today is at the Georgetown Health Foundation located at 2423 Williams Drive in Georgetown.
