AUSTIN (KXAN) — Sen. Bernie Sanders will hold a campaign rally at the Circuit of the Americas, Saturday morning.

The campaign says doors open at 9:00 a.m. at the Formula 1 track located at 9201 Circuit of the Americas Blvd. in southeast Travis County.

The event is free and open to the public; tickets are not required. However, admission is on a first come, first serve basis, and an RSVP does not confirm entry, the campaign said Friday. For security reasons, you are asked not to bring big bags, and to limit what you do bring to small items like keys and cell phones.

The U.S. senator from Vermont will also be holding a rally in the Dallas area Saturday afternoon at the Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie.

Hillary Clinton has taken the lead in Texas. Clinton has a full 10-percentage point lead over Bernie Sanders, according to the Texas Tribune poll. However, Clinton is behind in the age group favoring her, drawing support from 55-percent of voters ages 30 and older. Sanders is appealing to younger voters as the favorite for 62-percent of the 18 to 29 age bracket.
