U.S. 290 in Dripping Springs back open after crash

DRIPPING SPRINGS, Texas (KXAN) — A major crash on Highway 290 in Dripping Springs had all lanes shut down for several hours on Wednesday, according to Hays County Office of Emergency Management.

The crash happened at 290 and RR 12 around 11 a.m.. The crash involved a propane truck that was overturned.

Traffic was cleared and the highway was back open by 2:30 p.m.
