Austin celebrates 5th No-Kill Anniversary

Our own Jim Spencer hosted the event, with his trusty companion Kaxan.

AUSTIN (KXAN) – This February the City of Austin marked it’s firth year as the largest No-Kill city in the nation with a grand anniversary party.

The party took place near downtown Austin Saturday night and looked to celebrate the work done by Austin Pets Alive’s live-saving programs. Our own Jim Spencer hosted the event, with his trusty companion Kaxan.

Musicians from Austin & Nashville attended the event, with groups like Folk Uke and The Texas KGB performing, and vegetarian and vegan meals were provided to guests.
