DEL VALLE, Texas (KXAN) — One man is dead following a crash in Southeast Travis County late Sunday night. The Department of Public Safety says the crash happened just after 11 p.m. in the 14500 block of Farm to Market 812, just east of the Circuit of the Americas track.

Officials say Asael Salcedo, 25, was driving his Chevrolet truck westbound on FM 812 when he tried to pass another vehicle in a no passing zone. While he was trying to pass, Salcedo struck the left side of a car, driven by Leandro Aguilar, traveling in the eastbound lanes.
