West Virginia timelapse shows 40 inches of snow in 40 seconds

This spooky skeleton is going to give someone a fright when the snow melts

MARTINSBURG, W. Va (WATE) – Wayne Bennett captured 40 inches of snow over 40 seconds in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Since he posted the video, the teacher at Berkeley County Schools said he couldn’t believe how many people have shared his video.

At noon Friday, Wayne Bennett set up his camera to take one photo every two seconds for nearly 27 hours. He stopped Saturday afternoon and took nearly 800 pictures taken two minutes apart.

Since the video was posted Saturday it received over 2.5 million views. His wife, Abby Bennett joked stay tuned for the part 2, the melting.
