An on-the-ground perspective as Iowa Caucus nears

AUSTIN (KXAN) — In a little more than a week, all of the campaigning, debates and speeches will finally matter. For the first time in months, voters – not the candidates – will have a say in the race for President.

Iowans will hold their first-in-the-nation caucus Feb. 1. The race matters, because success in a state like Iowa can propel a candidate forward – or knock them out. And that affects us in Texas.

For on-the-ground perspective, “State of Texas: In-depth” Host Josh Hinkle speaks directly with Reporter Brian Boesen from KXAN’s sister station KWQC in Davenport, Iowa.
