AUSTIN (KXAN) — Girl Scout cookies are back! Starting Wednesday, the children will be knocking on your door and the office will be filled with the little boxes.
This year, the Girl Scouts are also making it even easier for you to order cookies. For the first-time ever, Girl Scouts in Central Texas will take orders online. “Digital Cookie” allows girls to track and accept orders online through their own websites. The price is still $4 a box.
The cookie season ends Feb. 26–which means you have more than one month to get in your order.
All funds from the cookie sale are used to support a variety of Girl Scout programs in STEM, travel and amp, career and college readiness. The money raised from the sale of cookies in Central Texas stays in Central Texas.
