AUSTIN (KXAN) — At the age of 56, the notable Austin attorney Mark Kincaid passed away.
Kincaid suffered a stroke on New Year’s Eve and never regained consciousness.
He was the president-elect of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and an adjunct professor at the University of Texas.
Friends say he was an outgoing and friendly guy.
“If you saw Mark and you hadn’t seen him in a while, he’d come up and give you a big hug. That was kind of his preferred way of greeting you,” said Russell Horton.
People in the community knew Kincaid for helping clients fight insurance companies.
Kincaid was a father of three sons, the youngest is 9-years-old.
Funeral services for Kincaid will be Friday afternoon at St. David’s Episcopal Church in downtown Austin.
