AUSTIN (KXAN) — The two people killed in a crash between a motorcycle and car Monday have been identified. The collision happened just before 4:00 p.m. in the 4600 block of West Howard Lane, just west of MoPac Expressway.

Kyle Frisbie, 24, of Austin, was riding his motorcycle westbound on Howard Lane as he approached a private driveway. The Texas Department of Public Safety says the driver of the car, Timothy McCabe, 51, of Round Rock, failed to yield coming out of the driveway, causing the motorcycle to hit the car on the left driver side. Both men died at the scene.

Austin-Travis County EMS says the motorcycle caught on fire after the collision.
