AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin police responded Thursday to a fatal motorcycle crash on U.S. 183 that medics believe occurred overnight.

Police say the man was obviously deceased when they arrived on the scene and it appeared that his body had been there for a while.

APD asked drivers to stay clear of northbound 183 near Hunter’s Chase Drive where the body was found at 13000 N 183 service road.

Medics pronounced the man, who appeared to be in his 30’s, dead at the scene when they arrived. At around 3:00 p.m., police concluded their investigation and reopened all lanes of traffic.
