NEW YORK CITY (KXAN) — Restaurants in Times Square are preparing for the hoards of people flocking to New York City for New Year’s Eve, by inflating their prices by more than 700-percent for the big night.

According to Market Watch, a table at Olive Garden in Times Square is going to cost $400 per person! And that doesn’t even include bread-sticks.

Bubba Gump Shrimp on Broadway is charging almost $800 per head.

Topping the list is Ruby Tuesday. The chain is charging up to $1,700 per person.

For those who broke the bank to get a table, don’t expect to be able to see the ball drop in person. The crowds of people mean that you will only be able to countdown from your expensive table looking at TV screen.
