Paramedic, driver injured in crash on East 7th Street

AUSTIN (KXAN) — An Austin-Travis County EMS paramedic and another driver were injured in a crash Wednesday morning.

The incident happened around 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of East 7th Street and Shady Lane. The community health paramedic has non life-threatening injuries and the driver of the other vehicle has potentially serious injuries, according to ATCEMS.

Both have been taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge.
