St. Edward’s student ‘forcibly fondled’ on campus

AUSTIN (KXAN) — St. Edward’s University Police are looking for a suspect who assaulted a female student on campus.

Police described the assault as a “forcible fondling” of the student on the St. Ed’s track around 11:45 a.m. St. Edward’s University police say the suspect was loitering in the area and tried to hid behind trees and shrubs.

Austin police have been notified of the assault and are on the look-out for the suspect. The attacker is a male with a goatee approximately 5’8”, weighing 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark blue hoodie with dark blue stripes, and dark blue jeans.

The student was not harmed in the assault.

If anyone sees the suspect or has any other information they are asked to call University Police Department (512) 448-8444.
