AUSTIN (KXAN) — The sounds of the season filled the State Capitol Tuesday morning.

The Pflugerville High School Choir was given the opportunity to perform in the Capitol’s rotunda, filling the building with music and song.

For many choir members, this was a special performance.

“I love it. We’ve been waiting for this. This is our first gig this year. We’ve been waiting for this since August. We are so honored to have this be our first gig,” said Harrison Haude, one of the choir members at Pflugerville High School.

The Capitol will host performances by choirs and bands from across the state throughout the rest of the holiday season. The Pflugerville High School Choir will also be performing at the Trail for Lights, as well as Pflugerville elementary schools.
