KATY, Texas (AP) — Authorities say a domestic disturbance near Houston has ended with the suspected gunman and another man dead and a woman wounded.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office says a man accused of opening fire killed himself early Tuesday to end a standoff at a home near Katy.

Investigators say the armed suspect forced his way into a house Monday night and began shooting, killing a man and wounding a woman. Neighbors heard the gunfire and summoned help.

Authorities say the woman, whose name wasn’t immediately released, was hospitalized in serious condition.

Three children in the home were not injured.

Authorities did not immediately release names of the two men who died or a possible motive in the attack.
