AUSTIN (KXAN)- Thousands of runners are hitting the pavement Thursday morning for the 25th annual ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot.
The local tradition benefits Caritas of Austin which is a non-profit fighting poverty, hunger and homelessness.
More than 20,000 runners are expected to take part in the race which kicks off at 9:30 a.m.
It’s the largest five-mile run in the state.
