Thinkery’s Halloween Family night

AUSTIN (KXAN) — With rain in the forecast Friday evening, you might want to consider taking your children to the Thinkery for the museum’s Halloween Family night.

Thinkery’s new CEO Troy Livingston says families will enjoy what the museum has to offer.

“The kids can get engaged in thinking and learning about how, why and what. It’s going to be a great night,” says Livingston.

The Halloween Family night will feature many science-based exhibits and incorporate “Space 8” (a space with projects and exhibits designed for kids 8 and older), which goes along with Livingston’s goal of turning the Thinkery into a full science center one day

Livingston’s mission is to make the museum more than just a science center for children, he also wants to attract adults. His goal to “age up” the museum and include exhibits that will also capture the interest of older children, teens and adults.
