LIBERTY HILL, Texas (KXAN) — A Williamson County woman faces a charge of criminal mischief after crashing her vehicle into a truck she thought her husband was driving.

In an affidavit, a Williamson County deputy says Judy Lynn Fox, 48, told him she thought the driver of the truck was her “cheating husband”. In the October 18 incident, the deputy found Fox’s car stuck in a rock ditch, with damage to the front bumper and hood. The man in the truck said he wished to pursue charges and believed the damages would cost $3,500 to repair. Fox was not arrested at the scene of the incident, because she was taken to the hospital for a possible crash injury.

The incident happened in the 1400 block of County Road 287.

Fox was booked into the Williamson County Jail on Tuesday, October 27 and released Wednesday on a $10,000 bond.
