MARBLE FALLS, Texas (KXAN) — A former Marble Falls ISD employee has been sentenced to 55 years in prison, according to a Texas Rangers affidavit.
Deavon Delancey pleaded guilty to seven charges. They include two counts of “super aggravated sexual assault of a child” and five charges related to having child pornography.
Investigators said he assaulted a four year old girl. They also say Delancey had taken inappropriate videos and pictures of students in bathrooms and dressing rooms.
On June 5, 2014, the Texas Rangers executed a search warrant on Delancey’s house. During the search, a digital video file determined to be child pornography was located on the defendant’s desktop computer. During an interview with authorities, Delancey admitted to intentionally and knowingly recording a sexual act on a four-year-old girl.
Delancey worked in the IT Department of Marble Falls ISD and was a volunteer firefighter until he was removed from those positions.
