22nd annual Austin Film Festival kicks off today

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Today the 22nd annual Austin Film Festival officially begins.

Over the next week, hundreds of films will be showing in Austin.

The Executive Director, Barbara Morgan, met us in the studio to discuss what to expect from the film festival this year.

The filmmakers, Geraldine Moriba, and Jamila Paksima, of one of those movies is Until 20. They joined us in the KXAN studio to discuss their film.

Until 20 will play tomorrow night at the Paramount Theatre Starting at 5:30 p.m. Watch the trailer of the compelling story about Texan James Ragan, who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma when he was 13-years-old. This documentary is about James’ life after diagnosis.
