Llano water restrictions lifted

LLANO, Texas (KXAN) — The city of Llano was under Stage 4 water restrictions that have now been lifted.

The restrictions come after a utility pole was taken down by an 18-wheeler causing a power outage at the water plant.

The community was asked to follow the restrictions until further notice.

The goal of a stage 4 implementation is to limit the amount of daily water use to .6 million gallons a day.

Residents were asked to follow the water use restrictions. One of the restrictions prohibits the refilling of pools or hot tubs.

Landscape irrigation cut down to twice per week on designated day between 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., and 8:00 p.m. to midnight. All watering must be done by hand.

  • Addresses ending in 0 or 2 water Sunday
  • 1 or 3 water Saturday
  • 4, 6, or 8 water Thursday
  • 5, 7, or 9 water Wednesday
  • Commercial, Recreational, Multi-Family water Friday
