MANOR, Texas (KXAN) — On Friday, the Manor Independent School District sent a message home to parents notifying them a child at Pioneer Crossing Elementary School brought a bb gun to school.
The district says the 4th grade student brought the bb gun—which was not loaded—their backpack and showed it to several students in their class. “A student reported the incident to the teacher and administrators immediately confiscated the backpack containing the bb gun,” says Manor ISD in the letter. The district says there was never a threat made to anyone at the school.
Possessing a bb gun is a violation of the District’s Student Code of Conduct and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.
