Lamar Goodwill back in business after Memorial Day floods

AUSTIN (KXAN) — More than four months after floodwaters damaged several businesses along North Lamar Boulevard, one of them is reopening.

The Goodwill at 10th and Lamar lost everything during the Memorial Day Weekend flooding. Now, it’s back in business, but with some big changes.

It’s opening as a Home Store, which is a first of its kind in the state. The store will have new and donated goods, including mattresses, appliances, linens and glassware.
