Chelsea Clinton visits Austin school for young women leaders

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Chelsea Clinton made a visit to Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders school on Thursday to discuss her new book It’s Your World.

Her book details the numerous challenges facing people globally every day and how just one person can make a difference. Included in the book is stories from children and teens who have brought about change, big and small.

“I’m really blessed to get to know so many kids that are engaged in making a difference, whether fighting hunger and homelessness or poverty around the world, or standing up for girls and women,” said Clinton. “So I wrote It’s Your World to help elevate awareness.”

The Ann Richards School prepares girls from sixth through twelfth grade for college; focusing on science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

Clinton’s book is a call to action, hoping to inspire all readers to make a difference in the world.
