U.S. (KXAN) — Loved ones can now remember the deceased in a different way; by passing down and preserving your ink after you pass.

The National Association for the Preservation of Skin Art will help you make arrangements to have one of your tattoos removed, preserved, and turned into fine art through “Save My Ink.”

While preparing for the after-life you are asked to write up a will; this extends to your tattoos as well.

Save My Ink asks that you tell your family and friends of your plans for you skin art after you pass on.
