AUSTIN (KXAN) — If you are looking to earn some extra cash, Amazon will soon be hiring drivers in Austin to deliver packages.

The online shopping giant rolled out a new program called Amazon Flex.

The new program will offer one hour delivery using part-time drivers.

Delivery drivers will make between $18 and $25 an hour.

Drivers are expected to use their own car, but can set up their own schedules by signing up for shifts on a smartphone.

Amazon says in addition to Austin the new delivery program will launch in eight other cities soon.
